FALL FESTIVAL UPDATE
Please join me in thanking Suzanne Finkeldie, Leita McCormick, Milta Guys, and all of the many Great Oaks volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure that the Fall Festival was a success. This year, the Festival broke fund-raising records. The Great Oaks Bake Sale raised $1,005.00. Please keep this in mind next year when we ask for home-made baked goods. It greatly benefits our charities. GREAT OAKS HOLIDAY LUNCHEON DYE CLUB BALLROOM DECEMBER 14, 2022 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM Menu: Appetizer: Butternut Squash Autumn Bisque Main Course: Chicken Saltimbocca: Dredged chicken breast, sage butter, crispy prosciutto, served with haricot vert and mashed potatoes Dessert: Peppermint cheesecake with fudge sauce and whipped cream Coffee and Iced Tea upon request Cash and Member bar Price: $49.00++ Entertainment will be provided by Nancy Witter, Professional Speaker, Comedian, and Author. Parking at the Dye is limited. Great Oaks members can park on Landfall Dr. Carpooling is encouraged. Please RSVP no later than December 6, 2022. Attendance is limited to 100 people. Refunds will not be given past the RSVP deadline. CCL Members can make reservations by calling the Club receptionist at 910-256-8411. Your account will be billed accordingly. Non-CCL Members must RSVP to [email protected] to ensure your reservation. You may pay for this via Zelle. (see greatoaksclub.com website for instructions) or by check made payable to Great Oaks Club and mailed to Milta Guys at 2033 Montrose Ln, Wilmington, NC 28405. Payment is due no later than December 6, 2022. Note: Great Oaks Membership dues ($40.00) must be paid prior to making your reservation. Dues may be paid via Zelle (see above) or by check mailed to Dana Silver, 1925 Hallmark Ln, Wilmington, NC 28405. A SAFE PLACE This month the charity has asked for cash donations. Co-Chairs Patsy Marchi and Karen Patulski will shop for the women who live in the shelter. Your donations will ensure they have a happy holiday. Please join us in celebrating the Holiday season.
